Wildlife photography is a new profession in China. Assigned by Chinese National Geography magazine, Wang Fu takes pictures of wild animals in Beijing, and Xu Jian goes to Tibet ot photograph the wild animals there. Their experiences are filled with uncertainties and accidental finds. The keyword of this career is faith, a sense of environmental protection and persistence.

At the end of the 1970’s, the Lijiang River, situated in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. was brought under environmental protection by Guilin City’s municipal government and now local tourism is developing with new policies which have allowed for the first private-run hotel in town to exist.
